The Florida Flywheeler's 22nd Annual Engine and Tractor Swap Meet - January 17, 2009...

Back in March of 2008 I attended Pioneer Park Days in Zolfo Springs, Florida. I didn't know what to expect when I got there, but I heard some old gas and steam engines would be on display. What a teriffic event! I took some nice pictures, but they didn't quite capture the motion and sounds I wanted to show. I promised myself the next time I had the opportunity to attend an event like this, I would experiment with a video camera.

Last week I got an email from Tom Mikovsky inviting me to the Florida Flywheelers 22nd annual Engine and Tractor Swap Meet. I spent a few days researching high-definition video cameras, bought a Canon HF11, charged the batteries and drove down to their Polk County property.
